Making Dental Care Fun For Your Family
Who are the most important people in your life? Your family.
Their health is a high priority for you, and that’s why you want to find a dentist who can meet the oral health needs for each member of your family.
That’s also why you should bring your family to Millburn Dental Arts in Millburn, NJ.
We know you are busy, and we want to help you save time by providing a single location where you, your spouse, and your children can receive the dental services you need now and as you get older.
You can make an appointment online or by calling our office.
Making Dental Care Fun
We know the dentist office can seem like a scary place, but we want to change those perceptions by making dentistry fun for everyone.
We encourage parents to bring their children to see us as early as their third birthdays. During this first visit, our staff will show your child that we care about him or her.
At the same time, we want them to see that we can be silly, too. One way we do this is by making chicken balloons with our rubber gloves.
Your family’s dental needs will change as everyone gets older. As baby teeth make way for adult teeth, we can address alignment issues with Invisalign.
We offer emergency care if you should ever need it for a broken tooth or a tooth that has been knocked loose. (We hope you don’t, but we will be here if you do).
We know that many dental problems start small. Gum disease can turn into tooth loss, and cavities can lead to infected teeth.
Our approach is to encourage preventive care with brushing and flossing at home and with routine cleanings and examinations at our office.
How We Are Different
You can go to any dentist office to have your teeth cleaned, but that does not mean you will have the same experience at any office.
At Millburn Dental Arts, Dr. Krosser and our staff are focused on keeping your mouths as healthy as they can be and on making your dental visits as comfortable as possible.
In our experience, we have learned that meeting patients where they are allows them to remain calm during their treatment. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have before, during, and after your visit.
While you are here, we will do everything we can to help you relax. We offer coffee in our waiting area, along with pillows and blankets to help you feel cozy when you are in one of our patient chairs.
Another way we have made dental care more comfortable is through the use of technology. Here are some examples:
◆ Digital X-rays — Digital X-rays emit a fraction of the radiation of film X-ray machines. They also produce images faster, so we can examine them and find problems (like tooth decay) in less time.
◆ DIAGNOdent — This tool allows us to detect tooth decay long before it is visible to the human eye or detectable with more traditional dental tools. The DIAGNOdent uses laser light to scan your teeth. This tool helps us find decay that has formed below the surface of a tooth.
◆ SOPRO intraoral cameras — This camera allows us to transmit images of the inside of your mouth onto a television screen. As a result, we can see your teeth and soft tissues in greater detail. This also aids in finding problems in the early stages.
◆ WaterLase — The WaterLase allows us to perform many procedures without anesthetic that previously would have been done with a drill. The WaterLase passes a laser through a stream of water to allow us to reshape teeth and soft tissues.
◆ CEREC same-day crowns — Should anyone in your family ever need a dental crown, It’s possible to get one in a single visit to our office. Thanks to our in-house milling machine, we can craft your dental crown while you wait instead you ordering a crown from a dental laboratory.
